When bride-to-be, Charlotte, set out for her hen night she had no idea what her friends had in store for her.

One of Charlotte’s friends has a nephew, Will, who has x-linked myotubular myopathy and some of their mutual friends decided that the hen night was a great opportunity to do some fundraising. Fellow 'hen', Samantha Hartup, made a very special top for her friend Charlotte to wear - it was adorned with polo mints and for a donation of £1 males were invited to bite a polo off of the top whilst Charlotte was in it!

We are so grateful to Samantha for her handiwork and creativity, and to Charlotte for going along with this funny fundraising initiative and to everybody who so kindly donated £1 for a polo!

We would also like to wish Charlotte and her new husband all the very best for a wonderful and happy future together too.
